On April 18, 2022, the bidding project of "Digital Intelligent Drilling Fluid System" of China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) was reviewed by the expert jury. It was finally determined that the "drilling fluid/drilling engineering digital/intelligent service system (DFS System)" developed, designed and produced by CPBW (DongGuan) Intelligent & Automation Co., Ltd. (CPBW) won the bid.

Since the second half of 2020, COSL has been communicating with CPBW on the needs and plans, and has organized and implemented many tests and verifications of DFS System on land and offshore platforms, based on the needs of the overseas market drilling fluid technical service project of the subordinate petrochemical division and the urgent need of COSL to effectively promote the "digital strategic transformation of drilling fluid / drilling engineering" as a whole. Similarly, it is in this process that CPBW further understands the requirements, further deepens the pain points, determines the solutions, and makes a prototype of independent functional modules for repeated testing and revision, and finally completes the comprehensive iterative upgrade from the second-generation prototype (Land Version) to the third-generation prototype (Offshore Version) of DFS System.

It can be said that the first three sets of equipment of DFS System offshore version landed in the COSL market is the result of the "combination of production and research" and joint efforts of COSL and CPBW, and a successful case of the combination of the "cross-border pain points" faced by oil and gas engineering technology service enterprises in the digital strategic transformation/upgrading and the "R&D/Investment" capabilities of professional manufacturing enterprises.
